Electrolytic coatings
Electrolytic processes consist in traditional electrolytic deposition of pure Zinc or Zinc-Nickel alloys on ferrous material through random roto barrell application. Coatings obtained give material a very good cathodic protection against corrosion. Passivation application with trivalent Chromium base and sealers/lubricants with controlled friction allow to increase coating performances. These kind of coatings are particularly suitable to small size products and products with holes. Dehydrogenation process is available in case of very hard products. Alcaline Zn Ni deposits can be widely applied on automotive fasteners, where highest protective and functional performances are requested.
